A Song that makes me Sad

This song is one of the most emotive songs I have ever heard. It is a broken man’s introspective journey of catharsis.
When I listen to this song I can’t help but be overcome by its emotion. The music instantly transforms my mind to a somber and reflective state and I can feel the inevitable coming of the pain the lyrics bring. This pain is the loss of love.
Dealing with such pain is not easy. You may or may not be familiar with the feeling but at some stage everyone is faced with it, either from the death of a close friend or family member or the breakup of a serious relationship. When faced with such an emotional wound it is easy to try and ignore it or let it consume you. Doing either may stem the pain or exacerbate it, but neither provides healing. This song is a reminder for me of the need to face such pain in order to find that healing.
Naturally when thinking of pains such as this it can be saddening and that is why I have chosen this song for today.
